Conflict between two or more parties within a workplace or an organization can sometimes require a more targeted process to achieve resolution. Patsy MacLean possesses the in-depth knowledge and has honed the skills to successfully mediate conflict and facilitate conflict resolution as a neutral third party. Patsy has completed a Practitioners Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and applies a proven interest-based process to mediation. She understands the value of spending time early on in the process to coach all parties on the steps involved in working together to resolve conflict. Using a collaborative approach Patsy assists the parties to identify the key issues and interests to be addressed in the mediation. Patsy also has the experience to manage strong emotions and resistance that are often at play in conflict situations. Parties are supported to collaboratively develop a mutually defined resolution that promotes good relationships and sustainable outcomes.
