Emily has a diverse practice in labour relations, conflict resolution, facilitation, Workplace Assessments and Respectful Workplace Investigations.
Emily is certified in conducting Workplace Investigations and has ample experience dealing with sensitive matters that often arise during an investigation. She is approachable and outgoing, making her clients feel comfortable and supported. Emily strives to make a connection with everyone she meets as she believes getting to know her clients and colleagues is a key contributor to success.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, in Political Science, from the University of Prince Edward Island, Emily received her Juris Doctor from Bond University. Prior to joining the HR Atlantic team, Emily worked for the Provincial Government. She worked closely with Cabinet and Government members, gaining valuable experience in the public sector.
She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Prince Edward Island. Emily lives in Charlottetown and in her spare time, she enjoys being involved in her community, getting outdoors, and teaching and practicing yoga.
