Respectful Workplace Culture
Most organizations today have a Respectful Workplace Policy that is intended to guide the organization, and its people, to work together in a respectful and productive manner. Policies however are not always enough. Productive workplaces need to cultivate a positive and supportive culture that is sustainable, even during conflict. Strong concerns and disagreements must be expressed in a respectful manner, without threat to either the physical or psychological well-being of others. Productive workplaces are civil workplaces. Our team works with organizations to build and celebrate positive practices, while holding people accountable for disrespectful behaviours. In doing so, managers are able to proactively address workplace behaviours before they become serious impediments to a productive and healthy workplace.
