Bob Andrews


Bob’s background includes 28 years with the Public Education System on Prince Edward Island. His roles included teacher, administrator, director, and superintendent at the school, department, and school board levels.

As a senior manager, Bob gained significant experience in strategic planning, human resources, labour relations, workplace assessment, mediation, conflict resolution, policy development, organizational review, and leading transformational change. For seven years, Bob coordinated and delivered professional development to senior staff on a wide variety of topics including performance management, difficult conversations, policy implementation, and conducting investigations

Bob has represented the Board on advisory bodies including the Education Negotiating Agency, Minister’s Advisory Committee on Communication and Information Technology, Teacher Certification & Standards Board, and the School Calendar Committee.

Bob’s education includes a Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Master of Education Leadership in Learning from the University of Prince Edward Island. He also completed the Atlantic Provinces Executive Program for Educational Leadership and Management at Saint Mary’s University / The Learning Partnership in 2011.

Bob has coached hockey, volleyball, and baseball for 30 years and continues to support youth in sport. In his spare time, Bob loves to travel, golf, and cycle.
