Business Development Manager
Reporting to the General Manager of HZPC Americas, the Business Development Manager is a main point of contact for clients. The Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing, nurturing, and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and potential customers (packers, packers/growers, and distributors). This position is directly responsible for producing long term marketing plans and forecasts. These activities include developing a pricing strategy, analyzing markets and customer needs, and evaluating the creditworthiness of the customer. This position requires travel within Canada and the United States and is based out of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you are motivated, proactive, and a long-term thinker. Having knowledge of the agriculture or potato industry is considered an asset. You possess a business degree. Experience in business development or account management is considered an asset. You are able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and enjoy connecting with people and developing long term relationships.
